It was a quaint family run hotel, similar to what you will find across most of Europe. The upstairs lounge had outstanding views across the channel but sadly there is a new multilevel hotel being built across 50% of the view. The staff are what makes this place worth staying at. Good English (if that’s you language) and a great knowledge of the town without all the usual on-selling that sometimes happens. Other reviews I read were commenting on a bad brekkie, but this isn’t New York or Paris, get over it. Fresh scrambled eggs, ham & tomato with a reasonable coffee and good tea selection. Cook your own toasts and pastries. We stayed 5 days and didn’t get sick of it. There is also a high tea from about 4 pm, tea/coffee and pastries, fruit etc. we loved sitting in the lounge with our feet up on the heater looking out over the channel.

Awesome place in Ushuaia! The location is great, one can see the mountains on one side and the Beagle Channel on the other. There are facilities all around, and the main restaurants, shops, and tourism agencies are in Av. San Martin only one block away. Joaquin and Jeremias were outstanding in every aspect, from their courtesy and friendship to giving tips and key recommendations for tourism. The room's cleanliness was perfect. Every day the hotel's staff was up to clean the room and change towels, etc. Definitely worth it!

Cosy lounge and dining area with lovely view, despite new construction blocking part of it. Staff were outstanding - very helpful and friendly. Assisted with reservations for activities and restaurants.

Breakfast excellent. They were more than willing to offer alternatives to me if my daily tour was too early in the morning that I could not eat at table during regular 730am-1030am hours.A mini bar of coffee, tea, and snack options available 24 hours a day. The cleaning of my room excellent.

The staff especially were extremely friendly. They were always moving around, saying hello, asking if we need anything, and providing if possible. The common rooms are really beautiful

Nice clean Alpine style hotel with easy access to centre of city. Friendly and attentive staff. Coffee/Tea/Juice/Eggs/Toast/Pastries available for breakfast. Comfortable lounge area with a view over the city and the harbour.

Excellent. Best WiFi I had in Argentina (or any hotel actually), the staff was absolutely amazing! Very friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I loved the common areas and the view (though partially obstructed) I liked that it was near the grocery store (down a steep hill) and near some great restaurants.

Small inn in Ushuaia, with great breakfast included and tea/coffee available all day, great location and good views. Very comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Comfortable large lounge area for everyone staying.
